The Urology Center of South Florida offers robotic surgery. Robotic surgery is a type of minimally invasive surgery. “Minimally invasive” means that instead of operating on patients through large incisions, we use miniaturized surgical instruments that fit through a series of quarter-inch incisions. We use the da Vinci Robot to perform Radical Prostatectomy, Partial Nephrectomy, Nephrectomy and some reconstructive procedures.

The advantages of robotic surgery are less trauma on the body, minimal scarring and a faster recovery time.
